An agricultural and construction equipment manufacturer is currently seeking a Logistics Engineer to lead and facilitate continuous improvement and World Class Logistics initiatives at all levels of the organization in the Burlington, IA area. This is a 6 month CONTRACT positions, with the possibility of becoming PERMANENT. Local candidates only, no per diem available.
Responsibilities for the Logistics Engineer
Develop and implement supply chain and logistics designs, models, strategies and/or processes to improve the business
Identify and recommend opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain
Conduct and/or manage strategic logistics analysis
Requirements for the Logistics Engineer
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related field

years of experience in supply chain and logistics and/or process improvement
AutoCAD experience
